Team Overview
The team overview contains a spider graph (on the left) and a list of progress on key manager activities. These activities are configurable in setup, but the default list is:
- Appreciation
- 1 on 1s
- Priorities
- Coaching
- Succession
- Key Players
Managers who pay attention to these key activities will be successful with their teams.
Spider Graph
The spider graph shows the manager how well they are doing in each of these areas. If too many areas are in need of improvement, the color will change from blue to yellow to red.
Clicking on any of the labels on the Spider Graph will show more details in the Key Activities area.
Team eNPS
Companies that are also using Motivosity Listen will be able to see team eNPS trends including for their managers. Companies without Listen will not see the eNPS option. In the example below, the manager has an eNPS of 62. This is for all surveys from them downward in the organization. This person has one manager who reports to them, April. April's team eNPS is 0. You can see the eNPS trend for the last six months here.
Key Activities Browser
Each key activity or key information measure has a details panel. You are able to access these panels by clicking on any of the lines for the different sections, or by clicking the buttons for the next/previous section at the bottom of the panel when it is opened.
You'll notice that the browser is broken up into five sections. Each of these sections has a percentage, which will tell you what percent of that section you have completed with all your direct reports. The goal is what you are striving to reach every timeline. Each section will then have the specific information you will need to know to either reach your goal, or an outline of how you've been doing over a period of time.
APPRECIATION
By selecting the Appreciation section on the Spider Graph you will see the following pop up over the Key activities Browser. The appreciation score is calculated monthly. It represents the % of direct reports appreciated in the previous 30 days. You will then see your trend line of how you've done appreciating your direct reports each month. Clicking ‘See Recent Activity’ will display a pop up of appreciations that have been given by your team including highlights, notes, and 1 on 1's.
1 ON 1S
The 1 on 1 percentage is calculated monthly. This is the team members you had 1 on 1s within the current month.
The recent action items show the most recent 1 on 1 for a direct report. The note is just a preview and can be expanded. Scroll through each direct report you have to see some recent items that have been discussed.
The next step section shows the next step for people who have no one on one scheduled or who have not had a 1 on 1 for over a month. When clicked this will take you to the 1 on 1 tab to finish managing.
PRIORITIES
Priorities are calculated where each direct report has current priorities set for them.
The "Outcomes" section shows the trend of completed priorities vs abandoned. The Next Step section will show you who hasn't received priorities to work on and the 'skip' option will let you filter through all the direct reports needing attention. Click on the 'Set Priorities' button to be directed to the priorities tab to finish managing.
FEEDBACK
The calculation for Feedback is from the last 90 days. The recent section shows if any peer has completed feedback for someone since the last time you've given them feedback.
The Next Step section is everyone who is red on the feedback status or needs to be given feedback. Clicking ‘Start Feedback’ will take you to the Feedback tab with that person selected.
KEY PLAYERS
The calculation for Key Players is the percentage of your team that has a rating for the previous period. All the periods will be annual, so if it is 2020, you’ll have a score based on ratings for 2019.
The new period will open based on a preference set in the Key Player setup section. The default will be to open for the period on December 10th and close on May 1st. This means, for example, that the 2021 period will allow rankings starting on December 10th and will no longer accept rankings after May 1st. When there are rankings, the detail window will show high impact and low impact individuals. Average people will not be displayed.
The Next Step will appear if anybody on the team doesn’t have a ranking for the currently open period. If it is outside the current period, it will just say when the next evaluation window will open. Clicking ‘Start Evaluation’ will go to the ‘Key Players’ tab with the selected user open.
TEAM eNPS
The calculation is the most recent eNPS score from your direct reports. The trend chart shows your score as well as all your managers if you have any.
The lower section of ‘Your Manager’s eNPS’ shows all your managers under you and their eNPS score in a color-coded circle. The color ranges are the same as for our eNPS dashboards in the 'Insights' tab.
Team Details
Under the spider graph you will see a list of YOUR team members. Each team member has an indicator for your standing with person related to each key activity.
In the example above, Andy reports to me. I can see that I owe Andy some coaching and a succession plan statement. Hovering over each dot will provide a tooltip for the details. Clicking on the dot will take you to that area of the application.
People on your team who are also managers will have a small spider graph next to their name. In the example below, I can see that April is not taking care of her team.
